Meet Dr. Ruther Dr. Ruther is a practicing dentist and former U.S. Air Force captain and instructor pilot. He is married with three children.Dr. Ruther is an active member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), the Holistic Dental Association, as well as the American Dental Association, The Ohio Dental Association, and the Cincinnati Dental Society. Dr. Ruther was born in 1985 in Cincinnati, OH. He has four older brothers. Dr. Ruther went to the U.S. Air Force Academy from 2003-2007. He was an intercollegiate varsity boxer and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  Following graduation in 2007, he completed Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training in 2008 and was selected as a first assignment instructor pilot. He was rated "exceptionally qualified" in 2010 and flew over 1,300 hours in the T-1A instructing students. Dr. Ruther has always been conscious of our biological place on the earth, and he completed a Master of Science in Environmental Management in 2010.Dr. Ruther flew the C-130E/H at Little Rock, AR, from 2012-2014 before exiting service and moving back to Ohio for dental school. Dr. Ruther graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2019. From 2019-2021 he worked in emergency dentistry, helping patients in true crises. Dr. Ruther has completed extensive continuing education courses in biological dentistry and dental implants. Dr. Ruther has attended the IAOMT conference and completed the Implant Pathways Continuum educational course in Arizona. Dr. Ruther and Dr. Westendorf joined together in 2021, serving the needs of patients in northern Cincinnati. His practice includes all aspects of general dentistry. |
